Little flower top - finished!

Herinnert u zich 'het slaapding' dat ik ooit maakte en verborgen hield van het fototoestel (en nu ergens diep vanonder in de kast ligt, tot het ooit gerecykleerd wordt...)?  De tweede poging is af!  Een maatje kleiner en deze keer met mouwtjes.  Met een beetje uitleg van Linda viel het best mee (NewLook 6026).  Ik heb wel gesukkeld met die tussenstukjes rond de mouwen.  Mijn eigen schuld, ik had brainfreeze... Geen tijd gehad om iets te eten  voor de les en dan tot bijna tien uur 's avonds proberen intelligent een patroon lezen...  Chance van het koekje en de thee!  Ik drink normaal enkel kruidenthee, dus als ik dan eens een echte, full fat  thee drink heeft dat wel een goed effect.  Maar enfin - het zit helemaal in elkaar, met lintje op de rug.  Deze keer wordt het bloesje niet verstopt in de kast.  Op een donkere jeansbroek wordt dat wel tof, denk ik.

A little while back I had a stab at this pattern NewLook 6026.  I failed and that little top became a 'sleepy thing', hidden somewhere in the cupboard until it gets recycled into something fabulous (ahum).  Anyway, let's move on because Attempt #2 is finished!  A size smaller and this time with sleeves.  With a bit of help from Linda (my Scottish sewing teacher) it wasn't that hard after all.  Only the facings around the top of the sleeves were tricky to get my head around.  My own fault as I was running on empty, skipped dinner and then tried to look intelligent reading patterns until nearly 10pm.  Not a good idea, thank goodness for the biscuits and tea.  I'm a herbal tea-drinker so a cup of real, full fat  tea does perk me up a bit.  The little flower top is all finished, with ties on the back.  This time it won't be hidden away.  With a dark pair of jeans it will look just fine, I think.
