O'tje werd twee dit weekend ! My little boy turned two this weekend ! Het was een super weekend, vol zonneschijn -net zoals de eerste dagen net na zijn geboorte.  We maakten het meeste van de zon en O ontdekte de kikkers. It was a lovely weekend, full of sunshine - just like the days just after O was born two years ago.  We went out for a walk, soaked up some precious rays and watched the frogs. Ik maakte deze cupcakejes niet zelf, maar vond het een leuk ideetje. I didn't make these cupcakes myself, but I thought I'd share them as it's a lovely idea. Ik maakte wel een auto-taart, de kleine is helemaal weg van auto's, treinen, vliegtuigen en helicopters. I did made my first iced cake ever and since the birthday boy loves cars it had to be a tuut-tuut-car-cake .   Twee jaar oud... ik heb een grote jongen nu... Two years old... he's a big boy now... 

I've started a little knitting project this morning, after taking a long break form it.  I've got an interesting love / hate relationship with knitting...  But when I saw the colours in this yarn it just had to be done, I love my new bamboo needles too!  It's knitting up pretty fast as the yarn is quite chunky, bonus!  I'm enjoying it  so far... watching it grow, revealing its colours row by row.  

De eerste geflockte T-shirt is er en ik ben er best tevreden mee (en O'tje gelukkig ook)! Robotje van hier , een blog met veel jongensspul. My first 'flocking' experience and I'm pretty happy with it (and so is the boy).  Robot from here , a blog with lots of boys' stuff. I think this flocking business might be quite addictive!  :)

I can tell you it was very cold, but so beautiful to watch :)

Frambooske doesn't often cook Chinese or Thai food. I was on a mission to find something reasonably easy to make, quick and without any obscure ingredients. This Thai pork salad has been made twice now and I just had to share! Recipe here . The first time we had some mixed long and wild rice on the side which made it look very pretty! Which Thai / Chinese recipes do you swear by?? Frambooske kookt niet vaak Chinees of Thais. Ik wilde een recept vinden dat gemakkelijk, vlug en met vindbare ingrediënten klaargemaakt wordt. Deze Thai pork salad maakte ik al twee keer dit jaar en ik vind hem echt geslaagd!  Recept hier . De eerste keer kookte ik er een mix van wilde rijst bij: mooi!
